Well, my buddy had a spare computer sitting in his room for quite some time now, so I asked him if I could use it. He just recently got a new computer, so he gave me the go ahead...and I grabbed it. Not sure what I'm going to run on it, probably one of the GoldenEye Source servers I'd assume though. This is what the computer has. He said it was having problems, but I'm sure the OS just needs to be re-installed if nothing else. They're not too big a tech savy family, so they ended up just buying a new computer instead of fixing the old one. This is the server specs:

- Pentium 4 - 2.4 Ghz
- 512MB DDR
- 120 GB HD
- 128 MB Geforce4 FX 8x AGP
- DVD/CD Burner
- DVD Rom

All the other normal goodies that come with today's computers...

I'll probably start re-installing the OS fairly soon, if not tonight. Can't wait to get some servers going on it.  Tongue

fuck i wish i had friends like yours. i had a few (not so) old computers lying around when i still had dial up a few months back and my dumb ass friends were fucking around with their PCs and broke them and i gave them my old dumpers for parts (all of which i just picked off the streets the morning of junk day).

yeah, so any1 know any good place where i can buy used PCs (or just parts) that are mad cheap (>$100)?
